At Easter 2010, highland dancers and pipe bands will come from all over Australia, New Zealand and beyond to be at Scotland on the Sunshine Coast : The 2010 Tartan Spectacular – Australian Pipe Band Championships and Highland Dancing Champion of Champions. The festival will bring together pipers, drummers and dancers on a fantastic weekend of music, dancing and tartan.

Highlights of the festival will include Australia’s premier pipe bands from juvenile right through to the ultimate grade one, dan cers of all ages competing for the title to be Australia’s champion, and a plethora of Scottish food, drink and craft vendors. And of course, tartans from all around the world including Queensland’s own tartan, will be on show. You will even be able to discover your clan history and purchase your own tartan!
